The US is littered with basketball rims without nets. There are a few reasons for this: 1. neglect 2. purposeful destruction of property. 3. some rims fasterners crack off leaving the rim in a condition where no net can be replaced.
I have many drawings of how to solve this problem, but I'd like to work with an architectural engineer, with a good knowledge of plastics and/or fiberglass to fix this problem.
Must be lowest cost solution, hence the request for someone that has a great deal of knowledge in materials.
