Esther Dyson

Esther Dyson recently spent five months in Russia training as a backup cosmonaut with the Russian Space Agency (via Space Adventures, in which she is an investor). She is on the board of 23andMe, a start-up that genotypes individuals and lets them analyze their own data or compare it with friends' on a carefully secured, private website. And she has published her own full genome on the Internet through the Personal Genome Project, where she is also a director.
